Big elections are so much more difficult than local ones -- because the mass of votes that are required is harder to sway (and they tend to have higher voter turnouts). In these local elections, its not uncommon for less than 100 votes to sway an election -- and it is pretty easy (although it takes hard work and time) to motivate a few hundred pet owners against an anti-pet candidate. Larger elections become a bit more complex -- which is what you are up against in Ontario. I have no doubts that you can do it -- as more and more stories come out about the dogs that are taken from peoples homes and killed. Hang in there....it is doable, for people everywhere.
